Raisins are produced in many regions of the world and may be eaten raw or used in cooking, baking, and brewing. In the Armenian cousin the raisin is used with rice which is cooked especially for Easter. Also in Armenian cousin we have Ghapama which is made of pumpkin, inside of which there are rice, dried fruits, raisin and honey.
