Dried apricot


Endemic Armenian “Prunus Armeniaca” is one of the symbols of Armenia. It is not only beloved fruit of locals but also a cultural heritage for all Armenians. In general, dried apricots are much more nutritious than fresh apricots because all nutrients are concentrated. The color and quantity of Vitamina A don’t change as carotenes are also preserved by heat. From five pounds of fresh apricots it is possible to produce only one pound of dried; and during dehydration the nutrient qualities remain relatively the same.
